Suga said they sang BIGBANG’s “BANG BANG BANG” over 100 times!
Although many would say that BTS is one of the most prominent K-Pop groups in the world, they have never allowed their fame and success to get to their heads, staying humble and down to earth to this day.
Because of this, many BTS members still freak out when they meet their favorite celebrities, just like how their fans get nervous about meeting them! The latest BTS member to meet his hero was Suga, who had BIGBANG‘s Taeyang as a guest on his reality series Suchwita to promote Taeyang’s new single “Vibe,” which he worked on with Suga’s fellow BTS member Jimin.
Suga’s fanboy energy was palpable from the beginning of the interview, and he said that he had been a massive VIP (BIGBANG’s official fandom) since middle school.
To emphasize how much BIGBANG meant to BTS’s growth, Suga told the story of Jungkook‘s 20th birthday. He said that the entire group went out for drinks and karaoke to celebrate, and they ended up singing BIGBANG’s hit single “BANG BANG BANG” over a hundred times!
“We had memorized the entire choreography. We loved you that much,” Suga said.
Taeyang graciously accepted Suga’s compliments, and he later said that BTS and their accomplishments also equally inspired him.
Seeing two K-Pop legends compliment and appreciate one another is a remarkable and welcome sight for fans worldwide! Watch the full episode of BIGBANG’s Taeyang on BTS Suga’s Suchwita below. Suga exposes his group as the biggest VIPs at the 2:30 mark.
