BTS Jimin has undergone urgent surgery for appendicitis at the same time he’s diagnosed with COVID-19.
In the statement released yesterday, BigHit revealed that Jimin visited the hospital after experiencing abdominal pain and sore throat on January 30. Upon his arrival in the emergency, the 26-years old was diagnosed with acute appendicitis. Jimin also took the test for COVID, which unfortunately turned out to be positive.
However, as per the recommendations of the doctor, the singer underwent immediate surgery for appendicitis on January 31. Currently, he is in hospital for the necessary post-operative observation and is in isolation for COVID-19. The music agency also confirmed that Jimin didn’t have any interaction with other band members in the days before his COVID diagnosis.
Get well soon, Jimin!
